In lower school assembly today, two of our Year 3 pupils presented their arguments for staying in the EU!! Both pupils wanted the children to know a little more about it.
After a presentation describing what "Brexit" was all about, the girls presented in front of 142 children explaining their thoughts. Mr Langston helped to balance the argument, followed by a secret ballot for every child to have their say and experience democracy.
The vote ended with a result of:
To stay in Europe - 107
To leave Europe - 35
Congratulations Hannah and Ananya, your presentation obviously worked, you'll make excellent Member's of Parliament in the future!!
