Wonderful Week 5!
Well done on the great efforts on your Home Learning so far. So many of you have managed to bounce back and find the motivation again after half term and you continue to amaze us. I am loving the daily Zoom calls for English so lets keep that up! It's so great to be able to see and help so many of you!
Top Tip: Try to complete your Maths and English daily tasks in the morning. This way, the rest of the day can be used to complete Sumdog challenges, TT Rockstars, practice your spellings, chip away at your topic project or to get stuck into your reading!
Thank you so much for sharing your work with us - we're loving the work you're doing! Remember, if you need any help or have any questions, please email us at email@example.com or you can simply place a comment on the activity in Google Classroom.
Since we have now subscribed to White Rose Maths Home Learning, the way you access videos is now a little bit different!
The links to the teaching videos for the week will now compiled into one document. This will be the very first link above the activities for each day titled
'LINKS TO TEACHING VIDEOS'.
Click on the document and it will download as a PDF. Click the link next to the lesson you need to do and it will take you straight to the learning video.
We are aware the date on the top of the video links appear different. We decided to start White Rose Maths from the very beginning when we restructured our home learning as we were unsure of the level of engagement prior to the restructure.
The structure of the maths is still the same: Watch the video that goes with the lesson that you are on and work along side it. You can pause the video whenever you like to complete an activity, or you can rewind it as many times as you like to go back over something!
Singing assembly is something that we have all missed a great deal. When we hear those familiar songs, we can’t help but smile and sing along. It’s funny how special songs allow you to remember times, people and places so vividly. This often happens when you least expect it – for example, when listening to the radio or when out and about. This week’s topic is all about the love of music. Get stuck in and enjoy yourselves – and thank you to Miss Waight for arranging this week’s tasks!
I Have Finished My Learning For The Week!
