  • Kingswood Thursday Update

    Thu 09 Mar 2017

What a beauty of a day!!!

After yesterday's wet and miserable weather, we were certainly treated to an incredible, warm and clear day.

Full of beans, bacon and eggs, they have attacked all the activities with real excitement and bravery today, experiencing the terrifying 3G swing, abseiling, fencing, night line and lots more.

I certainly haven't seen so many children push themselves to the limits to experience success, and I think as parents you should be incredibly proud of them.

This evening we're relaxing in the cinema, with a piece of birthday cake thanks to "Miss White" who turned 9 today!!

We've got even more activities up until lunch time tomorrow, when we'll have a warm meal and begin our journey home, which should bring us back around 4:00pm.

We've got plenty of laundry :)

  • Kingswood News Wednesday

    Wed 08 Mar 2017

    Blimey Wednesday completed already!!

As we drew back the curtains this morning we were met by mist, rain and strong winds, but that hasn't stopped us!!!

Fueled up on a cooked breakfast we made our way to amazing activities like zip wire, environmental art, laser quest and indoor climb. Lots of us have made great achievements, some made it to the top of the tower for zip wire, some flew along the wire like it was the easiest thing in the world!!

Some took a lot of pleasure in shooting teachers in the laser quest, as well as showing off some nifty dodging skills.

After a large pizza lunch, we set off to the beach in search of inhabitants of the rock pools, and we weren't disappointed, as we found loads especially with Mr Juggins' help. We certainly had to wrap up warm as it was a little "breezy" down there but had brilliant fun.

After thawing out, and having not eaten for three hours, we dived into a roast chicken dinner and prepared for the most highly anticipated event of the week, shopping!!!!!

To finish off the evening we've completed the largest game of twister i think we've ever seen and now head off to bed with great memories in tow.

Sorry, we are having problems downloading photographs, we'll try again later.

  • Kingswood Tuesday update

    Tue 07 Mar 2017

Well we've survived the first night's sleep!! It took a while, but we did it!! Unfortunately, one group then woke at 3:40am and decided to start having showers, Mr Langston politely asked them to go back to bed!!!!!!!!

Bright and breezy, we had a hearty breakfast of beans, bacon and hash browns and plenty of cereal to prepare for the day's events.

The children have absolutely loved today, many have completed the zip wire, abseiling, laser zone, driving cars around a track and much more.

Along side this they have eaten like Kings, with lots of pie, macaroni cheese, jacket potatoes and salad to choose from.

We're all now preparing for a settled nights sleep, as we're off to the beach tomorrow, fingers crossed with the weather!

  • Year 5's amazing websites!

    Wed 01 Mar 2017 Year 5

Here are some very exciting links to Year 5's own Anglo-Saxon or Beowulf websites.

This is the first time we've ever taught website design and creation and we've been blown away by the professional-looking creations using Google Sites.  The children have researched, designed and produced everything you will see...enjoy!
