And we're back in the game!!
Well, nearly! It's the start of the last half term on this academic year and slowly and responsibly we're taking the necessary step to bring us all back together again. Yay!
As it's a new half term, we have a new book that our English will be focused on. We're very excited to share it with you. Don't worry, all will be revealed later in the week! There are also rumblings that it is going to be made into a TV series in the near future - so that's something exciting to keep an eye out for too.
We look forward to seeing more of you in the coming weeks and hopefully reinstating the status quo here at SJS.
Keep Safe Everyone!
Maths
This weeks maths is fractions - again! You will learn how to multiply fractions by a unit (1) and non-unit (>1). Remember - multiplication is repeated addition. You will also learn about fractions of amounts and your division skills will come in handy for this. There is a multiplication grid to support you with the tasks.
English
Monday 1st June - Complete the next reading comprehension in your CGP books. Due 2nd June
Topic - Welcome to the Summer Term
Our friends, who work with Sholing Junior School at the Hampshire Mountain Centre in South Wales, have sent you a number of challenges to complete as part of this week’s topic work. These will keep you busy during the afternoons, both inside and outside of the house.
Don’t forget, keep safe, have fun and send in all your pictures!
