School Opening Day

The children once again showed their talents, empathy and great respect as the school officially opened last Thursday. In the company of honoured guests, Sholing Junior School unveiled their own memorial to J.B Nicolson VC,  for an act of bravery and selflessness in the skies over Southampton.

Jim Nicolson, James' nephew attended and was overwhelmed by the efforts of the children. He stated, 'I really cannot express adequately my thanks to the children in achieving this fantastic result.'

We are extremely proud of the children and hope they have learned valuable lessons throughout this project.
