What is our role?

Governing bodies are responsible for overseeing the work of the school, act as a 'critical friend' to the school, working closely with the headteacher and leadership team.

The Finance and Resources Committee oversee the financial management of the school, including the budget and, and how it is spent throughout the year to achieve value for money.  This committee also oversees staffing, including performance management, and the management and development of the school premises.

 

The Curriculum Committee oversee the development of the curriculum, create and approve polices, and meet with subject leaders to ensure that priorities for school development are being carried out effectively.
