Music is certainly alive and well at Sholing Junior School!

Over 1/3 of our children play a musical instrument and all children in Year 3 receive free instrumental lessons for a whole year.

We love singing and our weekly singing assemblies are very popular with all of our children. We are very lucky to have a specialist vocal coach who teaches our school choir every Monday.

We put on two major productions each year and in the summer term will be performing Oliver.

Every term there are concerts that give our musical children the opportunity to demonstrate how much progress they have made.

Please see the latest photographs that show our most recent musical event that featured a joint concert with Mr Parnell's 'Jubilee Brass Band' and our own school choir. It was well supported and was a great opportunity for our children to hear a really loud band!
